During the cooling or heating process, its self-evaporating system extracts water from the air into the unit. Most of this water then gets recycled and used to cool the cooling coils for more efficient operation. Excess moisture gets pushed out with the exhaust air, resulting in a virtually no-drain unit. In extreme humid conditions, if condensation collects faster than it can evaporate, the excess water will collect in the built-in tank. When the tank becomes full, the compressor automatically shuts off and the drainage needed indicator illuminates (continuous drainage recommended when running in Heat mode). The air conditioner also comes equipped with a dual-hose system that provides fast cooling. With one hose for air intake and the other for air exhaust, there?s no negative pressure created inside the room. The unit?s thermostat can be adjusted from 64 to 90 degrees F, while its digital thermostat control, LCD display, and remote control ensure simple operation. Choose between continuous on or the programmable timer, which can be preset up to 24 hours. The unit also supplies a washable air filter, a built-in water tank or extended water tube for continuous drainage, and an easy-grip handle and casters for convenient mobility.
